Incoming goods

  • Truck and document handling
  • Unloading of full and mixed pallets, as well as loose cartons from containers when applicable
  • Visual inspection for completeness and obvious defects or damages, including potential damage reporting
  • Sorting into the next smaller, homogeneous transport unit
  • Storage of homogeneous transport units
  • Systematic feedback on purchase orders via interface

Storage

  • Storage on pallet racks and shelving
  • SKU-specific storage
  • Storage is done separately by expiration date (MHD) and batch
  • Refrigeration and hazardous materials storage
  • Storage is separated between saleable and non-saleable or blocked inventory
  • Complete system inventory reconciliation (at least once daily)

Outbound goods

  • Picking from cartons or pallets (fast movers)
  • Order picking separated by single-unit and multi-unit orders
  • Two-step item scanning (during picking and packing) to reduce error rates
  • Packaging of goods in neutral, unbranded FIEGE cartons
  • Printing and attaching the shipping label as well as CN22/23 forms for non-EU shipments

BBD and batch management

You can provide us with a specific expiration date (best before date) or batch number when submitting your order. Otherwise, we apply the FEFO principle, which stands for “First Expired – First Out.” This means we ship the items with the earliest expiration date first. Once the expiration date is reached, the batch is no longer available for shipping.

B2B fulfilment

In addition to D2C fulfilment (“Direct-to-Consumer”), we also handle your B2B fulfilment (“Business-to-Business”). We pick and ship your goods to pop-up stores, brick-and-mortar retailers, or marketplace providers such as Amazon, Zalando, Douglas, Flaconi, and many more.

Customisation

You can include specific packing instructions either at the order level or at the item level within an order. This enables our staff to perform value-added services at the packing station. These services include inserting marketing materials such as untargeted or targeted flyers and greeting cards. Additionally, they encompass applying stickers, using tissue paper or customized packaging, and many other personalized options.

Step 1

Connect your online shop and send us your products

Once you’ve placed your order with us, we’ll get started connecting your online shop. Use one of our free plug-ins for leading shop systems or connect your ERP or OMS easily via our FIEGE interfaces to the E-Commerce Suite. Thanks to our JSON REST APIs, all processes are fully automated. After your products and SKUs have been synchronized, we’ll coordinate your inbound shipments to the designated FIEGE fulfilment center

The logistical processing takes place at our own FIEGE fulfilment centers. This ensures 100% control over operational processes and workflows, enabling us to maintain high quality and social standards. Our Operations Control module allows you to initiate or respond to tickets that have been created to solve problem cases and special activities. Follow the status of your orders

The Order Flow module offers a detailed view per order, showing everything from receipt of order to the booking of a return. You need to modify the shipping address for an order, or cancel an order altogether? This is easily done any time before the shipping label has been printed. Use the tracking link of the respective delivery service to follow shipments all the way to your customers’ doorstep.
