How do I start with Fiege Fulfilment?

Your start with FIEGE Fulfilment is very easy. During your first talks with our team, we will learn more about your eCommerce business by recording your requirements step by step. After this phase, during which all operational, technical, and legal questions have been clarified, we will start planning your onboarding. Our onboarding team will then ensure your smooth start with FIEGE Fulfilment. After onboarding and the hypercare phase have been completed, our Customer Success Management will support you with the strategic advancement of your business and serves as your first point of contact for operational questions that arise during your day-to-day operations. How long does onboarding take?

How long onboarding will take depends on the respective requirements of your eCommerce business. When booking our starter package and using an existing shop plugin, such as Shopify, Shopware or WooCommerce, you will be able to go live in no time. The onboarding team will provide you with the exact planning for the project following kick-off.

Is it possible to integrate Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce or other shop systems with FIEGE Fulfilment?

Yes, you may use our free plugins to connect with leading shop systems such as Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Descartes Pixi, JTL, BigCommerce or Xentral. Your preferred shop system is not listed? Simply send us an email and our team will look into the integration of that specific shop. Thanks to our FIEGE APIs, you may integrate all Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or Order Management Systems with our Warehousel Management System. Which services does FIEGE offer within Fulfillment?

While you focus on selling your products, we will take care of the rest – from incoming goods, to storage, order picking and packaging of your products, to returns management. FIEGE offers a solid starter package for you. Depending on your needs, further add-ons for medium-sized enterprises may be included in the starter package (for example, recording the Best Before Date and/or batch number). Is there a digital fulfillment portal?

Our FIEGE clients have access to our digital fulfillment portal, myFIEGE. It contains numerous modules, such as for Operations Control, Order Flow, or Reporting. myFIEGE helps you with your day-to-day operations and ensures that your team and our team work well together. Which services does FIEGE NOW offer within Shipping?

FIEGE Fulfilment has a broad portfolio of delivery service providers. This includes, for example, DHL/Deutsche Post, Hermes, UPS, DPD and Post AT. We are happy to work out a (multi-) carrier concept with you. You have the possibility to select from a range of shipping options (standard or express) and to add customised shipping services as needed. Do I need to prepare for high set-up costs as a start-up?

FIEGE Fulfilment stands for easy and fast beginnings without exorbitant set-up costs. As a start-up, you need not fear high costs when starting off with FIEGE Fulfilment

Which costs come with my ongoing operations?

For ongoing operations, your costs are composed of Fulfillment, Shipping, and Value-added Services. Those costs depend entirely on the services and add-ons that you have chosen. Does FIEGE Fulfilment have minimum volume requirements that need to be met?

No, FIEGE Fulfilment does not stipulate minimum quantities. You may start with us as from your first parcel.

Must I commit to a long contract term?

Our clients remain with us because they are satisfied, not because they have committed to a long contract term. At FIEGE NOW (our fulfilment support for smaller businesses), you may cancel monthly at three months’ notice.

Where are FIEGE's locations that handle fulfilment?

FIEGE Fulfillment currently has fulfilment facilities in GermanyAustria, Poland and many more. Both locations are owner-operated warehouse facilities of FIEGE.

Which channels may I use to sell my products?

FIEGE focuses on B2C fulfillment (Business-to-Consumer). However, FIEGE can also handle B2B fulfillment (Business-to-Business). We ship your products to brick and mortar retailers or retailers such as Amazon, Zalando or ABOUT YOU.

How do I start with Fiege Fulfilment?

Can I scale with FIEGE Fulfilment?

Looking to grow further? Not a problem. Our multi-user centres are ready to scale capacities flexibly.

Is FIEGE Fulfilment the right solution during peak times?

Be it the summer sale, Black Friday or business at Christmas – processing large order volumes is demanding on eCommerce fulfilment. And even during peak times, thanks to demand-actuated HR planning, early training or early courses for our employees as well as scalable, robust processes, our response is fast and flexible.

Which delivery services are available?

FIEGE has a broad portfolio of delivery service providers. This includes DHL/Deutsche Post, Hermes, UPS, DPD and Post AT. Further providers can be added on request. Our team is happy to advise you on an optimum carrier set-up.

Is it possible to have a multi-carrier service?

Yes, it is possible to refer to a multi-carrier service. You may, for example, select different carriers for the defined shipping countries. We are happy to work out a multi-carrier concept with you.

Is it possible for me to bring my own contract with a delivery service on board?

You may bring your existing contract with your delivery service provider on board. To empower you to focus fully on your brand, FIEGE will take care of managing your delivery service and your shipping services.

Who handles communication with the delivery service?

To empower you to focus fully on your brand, we will handle all communication with your delivery service providers.

Which shipping options are there?

We offer both standard and express shipping. Customised shipping services can be added optionally on request.

Is it possible to ship parcels climate neutrally?

Some of our shipping partners offer climate neutral shipping. This includes, for example, DHL GoGreen. Our team will gladly answer all your questions about the climate neutral shipment of your parcels. We look forward to your enquiry. Get started!

Which countries can I ship to?

We offer national shipping and shipping within the European Union. Further shipping destinations are available on request. Feel free to contact us for more information.

What is the cut-off time at the warehouses?

The cut-off time depends on the FIEGE Fulfilment location and on the chosen carrier. Please contact us by email for the cut-off times that are relevant for you.

How long does it take for the delivery to arrive?

Delivery times depend on the chosen delivery service and their service as well as the parcel’s destination. Delivery times in Germany are between 1 and 2 days. Send us an email to find out more about our shipping conditions.

How may I find out more about the shipping status of my parcels?

The myFIEGE Order Flow feature gives you information about the status of your order – from transmitting the order to drop off at the end customer.

What happens when a parcel is damaged or lost in transit?

FIEGE can handle the Carrier Claims Management for you.

Which IT systems can be integrated at FIEGE?

You can use our free plugins to connect with leading shop systems, such as Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Descartes Pixi, JTL, BigCommerce or Xentral. Your preferred shop system is not listed? Simply send us an email and our team will look into the integration of that specific shop. Thanks to our APIs, all Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or Order Management Systems can be seamlessly integrated.

Where can I find the API documentation of FIEGE Fulfilment?

How does testing work at FIEGE?

In the context of integrating your shop system, Enterprise Resource Planning System or Order Management System, you may simply test the communication between your system and our Warehouse Management System with our FIEGE Sandbox. Our FIEGE Sandbox simulates the communication with our Warehouse Management System and helps you to test our messaging interface. Communication relies on REST-based APIs in JSON format.

What are the opening hours at the warehouse locations?

The opening hours depend on the FIEGE Fulfilment location. The FIEGE multi-user centre in Apfelstädt, Germany is open from Monday through to Friday from 05:30 am to 11:30 pm. Shift operations are arranged within this timeframe in accordance with the respective Service Level Agreements. Following agreement, a shift may also be scheduled for a Saturday.

Which products may be stored and shipped?

A broad portfolio of products from many lines of business, such as Fashion & Lifestyle, Home & Living, Consumer Electronics, Food & Nutrition and more may be stored and shipped by FIEGE. Please contact our team if you require further information.

Where are the fulfillment locations of FIEGE located in Austria?

FIEGE currently has one fulfillment facility in Austria. This is our multi-user centre in Vienna.

What are the opening hours at the warehouse location?

The opening hours depend on the FIEGE fulfilment location. The FIEGE multi-user centre in Vienna, Austria is open from Monday through to Friday from 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. Shift operations are arranged within this timeframe in accordance with the respective Service Level Agreements. Following agreement, a shift may also be scheduled for a Saturday. The warehouse is closed on national holidays as well as regional holidays of the Federal State of Vienna.

What is the cut-off time at FIEGE Fulfilment in Vienna?

The cut-off time depends on the FIEGE fulfillment location and on the chosen carrier. The cut-off time for orders at our FIEGE multi-user centre in Vienna, Austria is 02:30 pm. DPD collects parcels at 04:30 pm. Please contact us by email for the cut-off times that are relevant for you.

Which products may be stored and shipped?

A broad portfolio of products from many lines of business, such as Fashion & Lifestyle, Home & Living, Consumer Electronics, Food & Nutrition and more may be stored and shipped by FIEGE. Please contact our team if you require further information.

Is it possible to store and send hazardous goods?

Please contact our team for them to review your hazardous goods. We will need the dangerous goods class as well as the maximum storage volume per hazardous good. Please also forward the respective safety data sheet to us.
